Friends and Family are warmly invited to join the Magog Singers on their last day of term, 8th April, as they perform  music rehearsed during the term.  They will be singing an arrangement of ‘Hail Holy Queen’, from ‘Sister Act’, ‘Annie’s Song’ with words and music by John Denver arranged by Frank Metis, and a spiritual ‘Joshua Fit The Battle of Jericho’ arranged by Mark Hayes.  In complete contrast, the partsong ‘How calmly the evening once more is descending’ words by TT Lynch and music by Sir Edward Elgar as well as a number of choruses from Vivaldi’s Gloria.  The choir will be as usual by John Clenaghan and accompanied on this occasion by the previous director, Jacquie McBride.
